Gluten Dairy Free is HARD I work in a bread shop (ironic, perhaps) and literally a few times a month i have to fight the tears of frustration, seeing people eat food that smells sooooo good, but i cannot.
But then I get break throughs like today.
I would like to share with the world my favourite breakfast cereal. It was cocoa bombs for so long- but soon found that chocolatey sweet things in the morning gave my tummy the most terrible ache! And changed to scrambled eggs on rice cakes. (I now find corn cakes don't give me the allergic reaction i once had and they taste so much nicer!) The answer is Back to Nature's "Cookie bitez" (which still upsets my tummy but it's worth it) So, here's my journey.
I bought it because it just looked so tasty on the pack, and for the same price ($3.99) as cocoa bombs i was willing to give it a try. I opened it and was let down by how much the packaging did not match the product...but then put one in my mouth....and it was DELICIOUS!! Almost akin to vanilla, teh second ingredient is dried cane syrup- so i'm going to buy me some cane syrup! gluten and dairy free! It's not often that something pops up that i absolutely have to say "omg...yummmm" when i eat! This one made me shut my eyes to savour it and then try to shove as much as i could i my mouth. It tastes similar to caramel, or vanilla. It's very sweet and nothing can beat! (it...) Please, you have my stamp of approval on this one! Road test over!
